The cover page of The Star today really caught my attention. The Loo that look after itself? What is it? Is a coin cubicle toilet. Need to insert RM1 to use this full air conditioned toilet. The best thing is that it says,[However, users should take note that the automatic door will open by itself once the 15 minutes are up]. Wonder it should read "the door will automatically unlock", if automatic open by itself means, while you are doing your bz, and time is up, then what happen... hahaha.. correct me if im wrong, my english is no good ah..and image this cubicle is going to place at the busiest place in town, Bintang walk.
This part is another funny part “Any user who needs to stay longer than 15 minutes will have to come out of the cubicle and pay another RM1, provided there are no users waiting to get in.
This reminds me of the 100yen shower cubicle that i tried in tokyo 10 years ago. Before i start to use the shower my friend warned me of how to use the 100 yen (for 5 min shower) effectively. So i did as told, first pour enough amount of shampoo on hair, rub body shampoo all over body, no chance at all to rinse hair with conditioner, there you go ready to slot in the 100yen and the water is splashing out from the shower head, time up, water off automatically, about the same concept of this loo... but the 100yen shower have the coin slot machine inside the shower not outside, so you can shower as long as you like, just remember to have enough coin with you.. haha
