KEEP THE PROMISE!! 約束を守る

I didnt know when did i strain my ankle, feel so pain even difficutl to walk for short distance. Mother told me yesterday she has promised a kid in the school to buy cakes for his birthday on Monday and ask me to remind her today. I totally forgotten bout this issue and when my mom ask me to go out and get the cakes i said my ankle is very pain and maybe couldnt drive, then she said ok, just leave it, will tell the kid, some other days i will get him the cake as substitude. I feel so bad bout breaking the promise so after 2 hours i told my mom, lets go get the cake is not good to break promise especially to a child, as i dislike people who do not keep their promise, so i do not want my mom to be one of the group. The pain was really killing to drive but after i came back with the cakes i feel much better, mentally.. gee..

Sometimes, people may have "unavoidable" reason to break promise but as much as possible i would like to keep my promise.
