GW Holiday Day 1 - 下

This is the season for shell collecting. After failling to get any fish, at last bf gave up, then we went back and pack our shell collecting tools and headed straight to the beach near to home. This is something like the fishing pond in Mal, need to pay to collect shell, not free one, Jyen500 for 2 person, this price is a discounted price coz many people complaint they cant get any shell. Shell collecting looks like an easy work but it really is not that easy, really tiring. First, scoop out the soil, you will see some holes, then put in salt and the shell will pop up, it was fun to see how actuall the shell pop up so quickly. We are not skilled to do this any many times we got con-ned by the shell. Furthermore you have to know which are the hold that contains shell in it. There are many fun activities during spring/summer season in Japan but come to think of it, we do have all sort of activities that we can do in Mal but seems people prefer to stay at home or just jalan-jalan in shopping centre. Once in Mal, when we passed by somewhere around sekinchan, there is a place like this where many people is collecting shell (balitong) but i have never did that in Mal, this is the first time to do in J. Reason being is HOT.... I do not want to go under the hot sun just to collect shell..

This is the mategai(jok tan) that we have got for the day, just very simple way of cooking
it, grill and steam and there goes a delicious meal. Bf aunt brought over some asari(lala) that they collected in the morning and it makes good, tasty miso soup. I have asari miso soup for the next 2 days breakfast and always wanted more. There is a saying 自分で釣れた魚は一番美味しい(The most delicious fish is the fish that caught by ownself). This goes same to shell i guess.
