What is this? yes, chicken feet. this is a authentic shanghainese food introduced by our chinese friend. The husband had not eaten chicken feet before and to my surprise, both this father and son not only eat but like it so much. Every another month they will request for chicken feet, chicken feet. Though is not much of nutrition of this food but i like when Yuta is eating because he can sit down quietly (really quiet) and eat with full of attention. I thought it taste good but after few times making it, i do feel is abit eerie of chicken feet. I think this father and son pair is one of the few japanese that will eat chicken feet lol. Many japanese that i know, when asked, can you eat chicken feet, all of them replied no, but they eat cow"s tounge, which is more eerie, cow tounge or chicken feet?

Cow tongue is less eerie because it doesn't look like a tongue anymore when they eat it. Chicken feet still pretty much look chicken feet. :-P
