Normally me and bf do not have this "chicken & duck" talk issue, sometimes it does happen when there is more serious topic to talk or during fighting time. But today is really "chic and duck talk". He called me this morning, as expected something must be wrong calling at this hour. It is about the blood test. On Tuesday he went to hospital, did the test, i explained to him on how to explain to doc, that i have this mild talassemia.. blah.. he said understand, then came back tell me, need to 2 weeks to get the report.. though is longer than i expected but i just said ok, since still have time, still have time in the sense that if so unfortunate that both of us have alpha, test on placenta can only be done earliest in 3rd months pregnancy, so i said ok, try not to push the panic button, knowing that he is also worry. Then come this phone call this morning, said doctor in Japan refuse to do the test for him without knowing the details. Then i was talking on my mobile phone line was not good, bos is looking at me talking, listening to me, i just heard he murmuring something, then i said ok, go call the Japanese liason in the hospital, the japanese lady attended with me in the gynae clinic so she knows what happen, i will ask her explain to you, just give her a call. Before that, i called the j lady, she is not in the office, then i talk to another j lady who somehow aware of my case then i told her that my husband will be calling shortly blah.. (for the first time i'm addressed using my husband name, she called me MZ san"). At last the J lady went to my gynae explain to him that i need a letter because the doc in J blah... so i will be getting the letter tommorow perhaps, in ENGLISH. According to my bf the j lady will do the translation, so i call to make sure she will do it, she said no, we are no professional translator and not medic person, we cant do that, just show the english letter to doc in jp, maybe they will understand..lol, wish me luck.. just wanna wrap up this case faster, time is running out.
The secondary issue, my marriage procedure and visa application. My bf went to city hall in jp to check then just panic to see all the docs they required, tell me mendokusai (troublesome) and basically i dont understand what he told me. I called personally to city hall in jp, the lady very supportive, english speaking , advisor for foreigner, so i got the whole picture of how to do the 2 procedure. Then today despite the medic report problem, i already kepala pusing but still manage to call embassy of malaysia in Tokyo, again kepala pusing. City hall lady said submit this particular doc to city hall but mal embassy said, no this doc is for mal embassy not for city hall. huh? Oh before i call the city hall in jp, i called JPN in putrajaya to get info, when i call 2nd time, this lady is telling me, why are you calling so many times, dont disturb me , i have so much work, faster ask what you want...

By the way, our friend IE says that you don't have to worry so much about your thalasimia, as she is alo having the exact same thing as you (you are a carrier only) and she already manage to have 2 wonderfull boys which have been completely cleared from Thalasemia. (they did not inherit it from her). SO TOLD YOU SO, THINK POSITIVE !

lol, after i get many advise frm my frens, i heard many plp oso got this and i check internet is common in SE Asia, but for J plp is not common so my husband pressing the panic button..this "mia" term sound scary to him talasimmia, leukimia, anemia.. kaka..
IE is the famous Irene E lah ! The rich and famous happy go lucky lady of Kuala Lumpur. Have you forgotten her. She has looked into your blog and would like to know how old is your hubby?
Tell your hubby "mia" problem is not so bad as you both have noy confirm whether he is or not so until then keep you fingers crossed.
My 2nd child the naughty, cheeky, smart and banyak manja punya baby, gave me more problems when I had her. I was belleding the whole nine month and nearly lost her a few times and at 8 months, I just choke and the whole floor was full of blood and pieces of dark clot of bloods. Shocking and then I was hospitalised for 2 months in bed. Toilet also must be in bed. Serious. So, during that time I prayed for her to be safe and Thanks god my prayers has been answered. to be continued ,,,,,,
After the birth via caesarian at 9 months, Earlier by one month as it is dangerous for both the mother and baby is the mother should go in labour. Then came oout the beautiful child.
But the end of the story of worries is not over. The poor baby took in some water from the water bag during the delivery and now she has got water in the lungs. When you see her with all the tubes in and our of her, it is so sad and painful to see.
But again, thank god ! All our prayers are answered and she is now a fussy beautiful teenager and full of energy and smart.
Have faith in god and everything will be ok!

Hi duck and chicken talk.I'm not wat rich n famous. Just an ex-colleague of ST. My comment is don't worry so much cos u r a carrier of thallas. only provided ur hubby is not one. I have a friend not knowing that both jubby n wife hv thallas. had a healthy,normal son. But...their son was a failure after knowing that they hv thallas. Anyway, thank god that they r so lucky to hv a child already. So, think positive and hv a happy pregnancy. IE
