Went to English afternoon tea @ carcosa seri negara, www.carcosa.com.my today with boss and friend. It was indeed a nice place, comfortable, cant really believe there is such a quite place in the middle of city. This is the first time to go though have plan to go with friends but tak jadi. RM60++ for an afternoon tea is rather expensive for me and friends but this time since boss belanja , nevermind la. The atmosphere was good minus the group of urusai J "baba". Purposely i asked boss "日本で大声で話すのは普通ですか "、is it normal to speak so loudly in Japan? kakak buat bodoh. The hi tea set come with scones, sandwiches, tiny tarts, cakes, pudding and of
course TEA, oh! as written in the brochures, these pastries are all founded by Sir Frank Swetterham. Frankly i guess the snack is not so much of my liking, which you dont feel like saying "oishii" when you take the first gulp, i only manage to say "kawaii" for the deco. I personally prefer the scone that i have in Bala Chalet in C.Highlandhttp://www.balaschalet.com/facilities.htm and boss prefer smokehouse in C.Highland better. We schedule the time earlier so that we can take a tour around. Suite was great but i think is more suitable for elderly, too quiet for me. There is a french cuisine restaurant, which i wanted to try next time. So afternoon tea is from 3pm to 6pm and of course tea is for talking, so we talk and talk and talk and maybe30% of it i x understand what they are talking coz both are chemical engineer, but nevermind la, just listen like and flip through some magazine and listen to the conversation of those J "baba".
