Welcome 2010 !!!

Non-Alcohol beer for the mom..
Baked lobster with cream sauce, kuri kinton (mashed sweet potato with chestnut), ozouni (soup), maze gohan (rice with various kind of vege), anchovies and sashimi (store bought).

As part of the family tradition, Osechi ryouri is prepared by the husband. Nothing grand this year as both of us were not feeling very well but the husband insisted on making the osechi. No guest invited, only the 3 of us this year. The first year when we made this i kind of like felt it was a little troublesome to cook and do the presentation for the new year meal, but i like to do it now, for the atmosphere or for the kid. It was a memory recollection of how Yuta differently every year when we stay up late on new year eve to have toshikoshi udon (not soba for us)and to prepare for the new year's day meal. I remembered we have chinese new year eve dinner at our grandparents place when i was kid, but couldnt remember when the family stop doing this tradition. For the husband, keep up the good job and for the kid/s you will remember the パパの味。
In this new year would like to wish everyone good health and a blessed year ahead. As for my resolution, to grow and learn together with my family.
