And so, this is my man... a Kyushu dominant male. I should have learned more about J and J people, if only i know Kyushu is famous for dominant male, i will run for my life when i met my bf , but somehow, im glad i didnt know that. BF did good arrangement for my birthday, when our 1st year together, nicely wrapped present, abit of surprise here and there, cooked a nice dinner and thats about what romantic he can do. 2nd year (already in LDR), i received my birthday present 3 days later, fine for me coz i knew he has got some reason, and this year, he sent in email remind me my birthday is just few days away and 1 day before my b/day, he called and said,
he : "congratulations! for your birthday"
me : Thank you
he : What do you want, i buy for you (i will be happy if he ask me this after 10 years of marriage)
me : Anything you give , i accept happily
he : you say la what you want
me : (Suddenly blast), tommorow is my birthday and today you are asking me what do i want?
he : Why do you get angry, dont angry,
me : %xxuuyyyy###########&^&Y**T^&%^YT^%^!!!!
he : ok, i dont want to talk to you... i dont want to talk to you NOW
me : OK, bye... hang up..... dutt....
I was upset the whole night, weeping as usual when things like this happened, next morning received an email frm bf saying .. Im sorry but ##%%#%%#****E&xjhidis and me sent a reply I am also sorry but &%&%&%&%&%#@(#*(#*@#&##&*. And later at nigt long awaited phone rang and here comes the making up part, and this is the best part about fighting.. haha
I take this as the growing up in our relationship. Previously, if we disagree with each other, either party(he did most) will just slam the phone, lead to a more severe fight and a longer cooling period needed . We found the "ok, i dont want to talk now" work quite well for us so far.
Yes, Ah-Co , you are right, we can laugh at it sometimes, figthing over small issue.
He can be a "Not so romantic" person when comes to occasion like b/day, st.V, x'mas but could be sometimes "romantic". Well for a J man, you can imagine the level of romantic i am talking about here. After reading much from forum/discussion board, bf is not that bad "yet",at least he can say I L U, show decent affection, a little of sweet talking (after much training). Believe it or not, many of J plp dont how hands when they go out for dating.
Guess i have to accept the fact that i will have this "not so romantic" man for the rest of my life, surprises with roses, present, is almost out of question but perhaps, celebration with his self cooked dinner is possible (minus the surprise part).
