Yuta"s Developing Milestone

At the Japan festival with a pair of Jinbei given by grandma.

A good trick to bring the bucket and shovel to the park so he can stay and scoop the woodchips and looking for ants longer isntead of running all around the whole time

Fun time at the palyground
I know i should have update about Yuta"s development more often. As time goes by im starting to forget those important milestone like first word, first step etc. Anyway it is the parents that care about their kid first this and that not that Yuta is interested to know what he said and what he did when he grows up.
At 2 he is a drama king. He likes prentend play. His favourite is to play with his Dora Kitchen set, pretending to sing with the microphone, Dancing with the Stars, MacD drive through, driver of the bus etc. The mommy has to be alert all the time when he suddenly says, "mommy come, sing" or "help, pizza hot or sometimes atsui". And the most recent drama he is the firefighter, i even heard him talking in him dream yesterday "fire ! fire! no! no!" He doesnt like thinking game/ problem solving game like puzzle or shape sorter. Though he can solve some simple one but it wont last more than 3 minutes that he asks for help. Maybe i attend to his needs too quickly that i realize he always ask for help before even trying. Books.. i wont say he is a book lover yet. he wont allow me to read him a story, he just wants to flip over pages of picture books. Everytime i try to read him a story, the boss says "mommy close" or recent vocabulary "dont want". He is a talking machine, he is talking alot now, about 70 words and short sentence, with noun and verb like Mommy is driving. He is jumble up 3 all languages/ expression in his speech. Sometimes he will end his sentence with "ai-yoh" or "huh"? (NO , he didnt learn this from me but my husband) and sometimes he decided to end his sentence with "neh"? Sometimes he is telling me "sugoi!" and another time he was telling me "awesome".
I planned to quit him from his pacifier once he turned 2 but he successfully quit the habit without much problem t 23month. Im not so strict on the pacifier thing since i remember myself still with pacifier and my blanky till i was at kindy, so whats the big deal but the husband insist that i should not let him continue anymore. The quiting process was so easy, i never thought it will be this easy and im ready for at least 1 week of screaming and crying. He asked for "jit jit" for the first 3 days, when i told him daddy brought the "jit jit" with him to office and he just kept quiet without any further fuss.

Potty training, the crucial part. I started training him (not consistently) since he was 16 months old but he refuse to even sit on it and at last it became one of his toy in the living room. Strange enough when we were back to KL last trip, he just did it at my brother"s house once we reached. Now he is going without a diaper at day time almost accident free with his #1 but refuse to go to potty for #2. Maybe need more time before i can save some $ on diaper.

He is slowly understanding the value of sharing and taking turns and that make things abit easier for me when playing with other kids. He said "a-fee" as in "excuse me". I was very satisfy with his well manner but i guess no one except me will understand what he was trying to say.
