poor little yuta, this is Yuta with all bandaid around him. we brought him to his regular check up and immunization shot here. they have so many immunization here as compare to in jp. doc said that he is behind schedule for most of the immunization so they gave him 7 shot on and 1 blood test in 1 go.. poke after poke, this poor little boy cried like shaking the whole clinic and my heart is breaking. There are more shots scheduled , when he turn 18 month.
but one thing for sure i like pediatrics here. oh, friends know i have so much, so much to say when talking about doctors in japan (ie, not good stuff). where i found medical practise in jp is kind of out of date and old fashion, i love the way doctors do it here. in japan, when you go to doctors you are only seen and not heard. they said doctors is your partner and your friends, where you can, talk, communicate with, it is a 2 way business in developing a relationship. I requested for a thalasemia test for yuta when he was a newborn last time, but doctors in jp refused me, i asked again and they told me, if you want to make sure your bb have thalasemia, got check yours and your husband DNA before checking your son, i got so frustrated but i gave up the arguement. i requested to have the test done yesterday, and im so glad the doctor told me, OK, thallasemia .. dont worry, it is not a big deal.. phew.. at least, im not treated like an alien, when i say i have thallasemia. dont want to complain much bout bad experiences i have with jp doctors, but i have to admit nurses in jp are good. I have to say, most of the time i found American are rude.. oopss comparison again. people like to compare when they have choices haha..
btw, i fill in yuta`s birth year as year 2006 instead of 2007 in the registration form, when the doctor first seen him, he brought him up and check him all around before he said, he is relatively small for a 2.4 years old. i was so surprise to hear for the first time that someone said he is small.. then i realise my mistake ... ahha.. so you see, my brain is not working, i lost count of days and date, i lost track with what is happening out there in the world haha..typical housewife??

When did Yuta starts crying ar? Chloe went for twice immunization so far, everytime she cries when doctor gav her the leg shots. Both time oso she scream like hell, hahahaha...
ah, yuta, i think the first 2 times he didnt cry , from 6 mth his 3rd vaccination he start crying kuah. his plaster got another 2 on each arm mah
in america they give drugs for everything. sometimes you need to check with them whether it's absolutely necessary. i completely agree that the jpn doctors are bad communicators. but the 1 thing i like about the general mentality about them is that they usually don't over-medicate (to strengthen the immune system).
