My Delivery Story

Guess what i feel like doing right after my delivery.. feel like telling everybody my delivery story. Though so tired but i cant fall asleep because of the `delivery` trauma. Maybe i have over-rated myself, i was thinking other women can go through the pain process and hard time of delivery a baby and so do i can do it, so i was so relax even after admitted to the hospital. But never that i know the contraction is so unbearable that i feel like banging my head on the wall (no joke). I was induce the next day after admission, and contraction start just after an hour, and it progressed so fast that in within 1 hour, it was like every 1 or 2 minute contraction, with no time to rest and needless to say about doing the proper breathing technique. Doctor (s) came and checked the progress telling me is progressing, cervix is opening slowly, so since is progressing, im motivated to keep on the `job`. After another hour come another doctor who told me, NO, you are not going to deliver today unless we increase the dosage of drip (for contraction) and i was like begging her please give me pain killer, she said NO, then please stop the induction and do a C-section for me, she said NO... I send out a `warning` i cant bear the pain anymore i will faint off anytime from now and just 5 minutes after that i feel like passing motion, here come the nurse that tells me , NO, you cant pass motion now, but i cant hold it anymore, with almost zero energy left, i drag myself to the toilet and try to do my business, and suddenly the so poor nurse came into the toilet and try to stop me from passing motion, how? cover my anus, would you just believe that, even at that time, even when i was feeling dying at that time, i feel my sympathy to the nurse, `gee, what a hard job you have`... and keep on saying sumimasen... hayaya, now i can laugh at this..
With the `ganbatte` spirit, i walk back to my bed and just 2 minutes after that, i feel like pushing again, and this is when the real water bags burst, press the bell again, nurse came , check again, suddenly she said surprisingly... `Mok san !!!!!! oosan da yo!!!!yokatta` (can deliver now!!).. This is the moment i feel so relieve, yeah, yokatta, if only it came another 5minutes later, i would have passed out.
Delivery was a smooth one, less than 10minutes Yuta is born. gee, what a relieve.. phew... feel like dozing off immediately.
The next day, i dont know how many nurses and doctors congratulates me follow by.... `oh, you have hard time yesterday / it was hard work`... only then i realize, my shouting yesterday must have rocked the whole hospital , hayaya, so embarassing, and if that is not enough, one day in the nursing room here come this lady said to me, Mok san, i was at the next bed to you in the labour room, you have had hard time .... it was just so lucky you didnt terminate the induction.. blah... and goes on... Cant say more after her long sympathy speech and said, oh, yeah, yeah.. hayaya..
Glad that i made the decision to deliver here in Japan, cant imagine have to go through this alone in Mal.

Hah ! Glad to hear that you have join the club of screaming mothers in delivery room. I did exactly that 19 yrs ago and I can still remmeber it clearly.

But anyway, I am glad that I have found a partner and am also so very very happy that you did not let down the female gender by giving up half way. Good for you !

Anyway, in one or two yrs time you will be telling the world that you are ready for round two again.

Hope it is soon.
